2019年的时候买过原著，但是各种原因并没有看完，隐约只记得书中最令我感动的是父亲在知道女儿婚内出轨后给她的意见是“享受欢愉。”在2022年版本的电影中，剧情经典重现了。
电影中还有一处令我感动的剧情就是女佣在洗衣房里说的那些话“谁也不许在她背后说一句坏话。”
能在平常人看不到的角度去看待出轨这件事，《查泰莱夫人的情人》这部电影是我至今看到的第二部，第一部是《廊桥遗梦》。
