With some romantic and unrealistic elements, I still see it as the greasiest movie in this year. When I watched the speech delivering part, I was wondering how to combine the Puke thing with the Communist issue. Then it came up with the America that people like Luke were defending for, this huge concept. I think it is marvelous! And I really like Jim Karry’s acting.

The very first impression when I finished watching the movie was its stereotype and orthodoxy. It smells much like a musty Hollywood film reel with the plot which you can guess before it happens and a super happy ending, though, anyway, I was somehow touched when Peter stood up to the authority with the pride of all the passed heroes in that small town. Perhaps it is what we call power of tradition--the classic.
Then, I came up with an odd idea that would make the story more interesting. What if Peter is actually a communist? The movie shows us the story on the screen, but why can’t we try to imagine the untold part, I mean, the undercurrent of Peter.

我也觉得这是金·凯瑞演过的最好的电影。其实情节相当老套，无非是主人公通过一连串的奇遇正视自己的内心，终于没有向坏的势力低头，还获得了圆满的爱情。尽管这样可还是非常喜欢。大概因为那个安静的小镇，小镇人们朴素真诚的生活吧。好莱坞果然厉害！
